Scrapbook Savvy Cyber Crop

I heard about the Scrapbook Savvy cyber crop through some scrappy friends, so I thought I'd give the challenges a go.
http://www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au/forum/viewforum.php?f=159

Here is what I came up with.
Anthea's challenge - misting/painting, distressing and laying
This photo of us is from our recent trip to Turkey. I finger painted dots around the outside of the cardstock and also wiped some paint over the Chatterbox alpha title. I ripped up a recycled bag for the background that we got from Athens Hard Rock Cafe and the thin atlas type paper is from a Colorado shoe box. So a lot of recycling here. I also used kaiser embellishemnts and tickets, flourish with a bling flourish, carolee creations alpha stickers, button, mesh and a metal charm of the trojan horse. Oh and also the flowers are made out of the grip thingy that you get around coffee cups at starbucks.

Renee's challenge - go DOTTY
For this layout I used Echo Park Pattern paper scraps that I had, and stickers. I think the chipboard is A2Z Scraplets, which i painted 3 different shades of blue. I also used kaiser rubons and brads and I stitched around most of the pieces of patterned paper and cardstock.

Sara's challenge - sketch

Kerryn's challenge - scraplift a layout from the gallery
Here is the layout that I chose from the gallery

And here is my lift of that layout. I used Little Yellow Bicycle patterned paper and stickers, DCWV vellum quote, american craft thickers, carolee creations alpha stickers, tag, brad, flowers and resin rose.

Scrapwith V Scrapbook Kits October inspiration challenge

Here is the photo for the October inspiration challenge at ScrapwithV Scrapbook Kits

And my layout I created. I used nice neutral colours of orange, blues and browns. Love this layout. It is kinda similar to the double layout that I did for the Masters competition. I used Sassafras Lass patterned papers, which i just love. I machined stitched around the background piece and over some of the embellishments, and hand stitching over some of the embellishments. I also used kaiser journal card, ribbon, buttons, string, buttericks sewing pattern, kaiser roses, and doilies, carolee creations alpha stickers, tag and staples.
