Southern Girls challenge #21 'Anything Goes'

Round 21 at the Southern Girls challenge blog http://southerngirlschallenge.blogspot.com/ is 'Anything Goes'. It's not my groups turn to do the challenge there, but I couldnt resist the vampire digital images from Simply Betty stamps, who is sponsoring this round. I chose the very cool Jazzy Digi from the cool vampires range
So with that image I decided to do a layout on my christmas present. Yep, I got an Edward doll. LOL Love it. For this layout I used creative imaginations and graphic 45 patterned paper, crocheted doilys, american craft thickers, A2Z scraplets stickers, roses and mini roses, kaiser alpha stickers and rub on, ribbon and a ticket. I coloured my vampire image up with copics and stampin up markers. Pretty happy with how this layout turned out

Michelle's Masterclass at Scrapping Outback

Well its been two weeks since the last Master Class for the My Scraproom Rules competition at http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/messageboard/index.php
Michelle Grant hosted the second Masterclass and she has taught me some new techniques. My layout looks completely different to Michelle's because I didn't buy the kit, but I'm still happy with how it turned out. The techniques that I did were marbling on the chipboard, with 4 different coloured paints, stamping on the ribbon using paint, stamped background and the paper towel that I did the marbling with were then cut out to make flowers. Thanks Michelle for a great class. I used My Minds Eye and Girls Paperie patterned paper, prima flourish, A2Z Scraplet chipboard pieces, page from a dictionary, girls paperies embellishments, brads and carolee creations and kaiser alpha stickers.

Alicia's challenge - My Scraproom Rules

Well we're half way through the competition already at Scrapping Outback
Alicia's has given us a list of ingredients which we then had to interpret into a LO/card or OTP project. The ingredients are:
Flour
Pastry
Oil
Mixed Herbs
Meat
Pasta
Sugar

And here is how I interpreted the ingredients:

flour - is an important part in any recipe and i belive an important part of a LO is the title. I have used a SO piece of chippy, left raw so I didnt have to cook anymore

pastry - is the base and I have used a nice fluffy piece of brown cardstock

oil - well i think liquid so I've used glimmermist in the top right corner

mixed herbs - to garnish all my LOs i use quotes and rub on words. I think they just finish a LO, all the things you wanna say about the photo

meat - is the main part of meals in my household. And the main part of a LO is patterned paper and matching die cuts.

pasta is a staple part in most diets, so I have included 2 staples in the bottom right corner and a stripey paper clip to hold a few things together

sugar -my life consists of a lot of sugar in the form of chocolate and lollies, and my LOs include a lot of flowers (i guess having 3 daughters can do that to you). So to sweeten this LO i have added some nice bright prima flowers and handmade some roses.

I'm not completely happy with this LO, I think its the colours that I chose.

Emerald Faerie Garden 'Bling It' challenge

The next challenge round at the Emerald Faerie Garden http://emeraldfaeries.blogspot.com/ is 'Bling It'. And here is my layout for that challenge. I have used kaiser's chanteuse range of patterned papers, chipboard die cuts, posie flowers and journal spots, prima flowers, kaiser diamantes, K& Company rub ons, C&C stamp, american craft thickers, sheet music, magnolia die cut fence and the Emerald Faerie image Willy and Mia (which i cut out Willy and just used Mia). The entire range of Emerald Faeries is available in rubber or digital here at Deb's store http://www.debmitchellcreations.com/Stamps/cat242964_192917.aspx
Im really happy with how this layout turned, and i just love that chanteuse range of kaiser.
