Embellish Comp Round 3

Round 3 for the Embellish comp is due again. Ive been so behind lately, I really didnt think I would get this done in time. But here it is.
Its  a photo of my friend's new baby, Amelia.
This week's challenge is for you to also create something ( a layout or an OTP) using the following five points:

1. hand stitching
2. felt
3. beads
4. bling / rhinestones
5. doodling
BUT you have to create a handmade embellishment too (using one or more of those five points as mentioned above).

I used mainly large scraps from a heap of stuff that Chris at Born2Create sent me. Handstitching around the top left of the photo, in green. kaiser bling green flowers, black doodling dots and swirls around the photo
I have a felt owl in the top right of the photo.My handmade embellishment is a ribbon flower that Chris made me. It has a bead in the centre. There is a felt owl in the top right of the photo,. I think the pp is My Memories, yellow lace cardstock, dymo labeller, glimmermist

Embellish Comp Round 2

Round 2 at scrapncraftwitht.com.au, Embellish competition is
The challenge is to create something using:

cool colours
paint
some kind of title/lettering (handwritten/printed/alphas)
at least one flower and
an inventive hybrid embellishment

Im surprised at how quick I did this LO, I wasnt sure I would get it done or not.
I used all scraps from Kaiser for this LO, didnt even really have to cut them, just placed them around. I used my new chippy from Scrapmatts, the lamp post and the butterflies. My title is Scrapbooking has made me new friendships. My hybrid embellishment is a digital stamped image that Mel printed out for me. I coloured it, kindy glitzed it, and 3D it up. I used a new castle button that arrived in the mail today from Deb. The photo is of me, Sherryl, Deb and Lisa.

Another Masters LO, that just didnt make it :)

Ive made another LO today for the single LO section for the Masters comp 2011. Im really happy with this one. So this one above is one that i made that im not submitting. I used kaiser pp, prima packaging, ribbon, chipboard leaf, kaiser flowers, kaiser stamps, packaging from kaiser, bead, and the centre of the flower is an old earring of mine, kaiser embellies.

Embellish Comp Round 1

Tanyah at scrapncraftwitht.com.au is running the Embellish competition again this year. Requirements for Round 1 are:
* paint

* doodling
*use 3 different patterned papers
* interesting ways to journal & title
Hand made embellishment criteria:-

* sewing
* paint
* must use 3 colours

My layout is called Chubby cheeks (I had no E's left so i thought the & might be ok). The journalling is the title and I have layered the carolee creation stickers over the felt thickers title. I have painted the chipboard fence with twinkling H2O, have doodled around the PP, i have used a heap of pp and my hand made embellie is the flower in the bottom left corner. It is made out of multi coloured ribbon with a painted chippy centre and a button sewed on. I have used the girls' paperie pp for the background and a few kaiser scraps, as well as a page out of an old book. really liked how this one turned out

First attempt at the single LO for the Masters competition 2011

This is my first attempt at the single LO for the Masters competition. It had to be a single LO, with more than 3 photos, which one of these needed to be bigger than 6 x 4 and the LO needed to have some recycled item on it. I had 2 recycled items, one was a page from one of the girl's books and behind the flowers is a metal mesh ring, which fell off my hair dryer. I just didnt think that this LO was good enough. I used kaiser scraps, sassafras lass pp, dymo labeller, thickers, and jolee stickers.

Pink LO

Since I dont have much time this month, I am using this LO as my example for my challenge at born2create.ning.com and also my example for my 3D challenge at scrapbooking4less.com.au
For the challenge at B2C it had to be pink with a pink ribbon and
at scrapbooking 4 less it had to have a heap of 3D work
