I used Jenni Bowlin pp as the base, bo bunny pp, a page from an old novel, mesh ribbon, american craft thickers, flourish with bling that i bought at debscreations.ning.com, kaiser butterfly, papermania journal tag, kaiser alphas and a lovely ribbon flower that my friend Chris made at born2create.ning.com

Scrapbooking 4 Less August sketch challenge

This was the august sketch challenge at scrapbooking4less.com.au. which i rotated (as u can see)
And my take on the challenge

I used a really old piece of K & Company pp for my base. And just used some bo bunny scraps, and not sure what the other pp is. Also used american thicker alphas, carolee creations alpha stickers, jolees bird cage, kasier bling, unknown flowers and a die cut bird. Im not sure if  i like this LO or not, but I do like that the photo doesnt get lost on the page (because the photo is beautiful)

Scrapbooking Outback August card challenges

There were 2 sketches for the August card challenge at http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/
For this card I used cosmo cricket pp, the magnolia princess tilda stamp, handmade those flowers from cosmo cricket pp. im pretty happy with how this one turned out

I used papermania pp for this card, and also papermania flowers, buttons and bow. they are all left over from my stuff for round 2 of scrapbook apprentice. not sure what the stamp is, it was given to me by a friend.

Mad about scrappin August challenge 3

Leanne's challenge 3 for August, at Mad about scrappin http://madaboutscrappin.spruz.com/ was to create a LO using paper strips. This LO that i did is for a photo swap at Born 2 create
I think the paper is Bo Bunny, that I got as a prize for another challenge. My embellies that i used are kaiser felt, making memories brads, peg, papermanie bow, kaiser alpha stickers, cant remember the brand of the large alpha letters, kaiser bling. The red star was actually a material flower that i cut up. i have used paper strips in the bottom and top left corners.

August Challenge 2 Mad about scrappin

Leanne provided this piccy for challenge 2, for us to get inspiration from

From this piccy I decided to use some photos of my husband who has his hands full with one child while trying to grab another child who is running away (I got this from all the fairies flying around) and I also used some pine tree stamps like in this piccy and similar colours.
For this LO I used some corrugated card, basic greay pp, stampin up stamps, scrappy matts chippy fence, prima flower vine, fancy pants die cut, DCWV vellum quote and hambly screen print rub ons.

Check it out at http://madaboutscrappin.spruz.com/

August challenge at Debs Creations

Kaye's challenge at Debs Creations is to create a LO using, buttons, stitching, ribbon and one other thing (LOL I cant remember). This was my LO that i did, called 'camouflage'. This is my youngest at the zoo pretending to be camouflaged in the grass. I used stampin up and kaiser pp, magnolia leaves, i handmade a flower out of sheet music, buzz and bloom fabric flourish, american thickers, ribbon, kaiser chipboard.

Grandma LO

I did this LO of my mum, with 2 of my girls. I used webster's pp and a few other scrap pieces of pp, a page from a novel, magnolia leaves, girls paperie emebllishments, kaiser pearls, american thickers, K & Company glitter stickers, carolee creation alpha stickers plus a heap of goodies from Shell at Lil' Red Rocket, that i won in her blog candy. http://shell07-shell07.blogspot.com/

Twiddleybitz August challenge

I joined the twiddleybitz ning site
http://twiddleybitz.ning.com/
because my friend lisa is on their DT. And wow what an amazing bunch of DT members, they have. They had their first blog hop on the weekend, and I was lucky to win a prize from the amazing Karola. She made this chipboard handbag, and I think I get the one she made. how amazing
Anyway so I decided to do their August challenge. The requirements were to make a LO using a twiddleybitz item and you have to have paint or spray as your background. I did a basic LO, so the painted circles that I did, didnt get lost on the page. I called the page 'So Girly'. I used papermania and basic grey pp, DCWV vellum quote. twiddleybitz gate (which i sprayed with glimmermist), lace, rub ons title, prima flowers, chipboard swirls (which i swirled liquid pearls over).
