I originally wanted to do a LO that had a lot of flowers on it, but I think i am all flowered out. I just couldnt get it to work. So this is my second attempt at her challenge (my first attempt is for my May challenge at Debs Creations). So I chose the blue and green as the main colours for my LO and a similar colour to the egg for the background. I used Little Yellow Bicycle and Stamin Up patterned paper, jolees stickers, ribbon, flowers, doily, K & COmpany stickers, bella journal block, girls paperie die cut, making memories brad, carolee creations alpha stickers , glimmer mist and K & Company rub on

I used crate paper, over the moon press patterned paper and ki memories paper, coredinations cardstock, prima and born2create flowers, mesh ribbon, prima flourish and droplets, american craft thickers, Kaiser die cuts K & Company rub ons, jolees sticker, butterfly embellishment and die cut butterfly.

I wasnt entirely happy with how this LO turned out, it just didnt seem to work. I cant remember the name of the patterned paper that I used. I mainly used scraps, flourish with a bling flourish, american craft thickers, making memories rub ons and brads, carolee creations alpha stickers, crochet flowers, kaiser diamante flower and rub ons, doily, Sandylion sticker, kaiser patterned paper and kenz and tilly emerald faerie which i coloured with stampin up markers and copics.

I decided to make a card with the Kayla & Twinkie image. I used the Echo Park Sweet Summertime range of papers, stampin up stamps, lace and I coloured Kayla & Twinkie with stampin up markers and copics.

Flourish with a Bling April challenge

Flourish with a bling April challenge is to create a layout using this picture as inspiration, and u must include a flourish with a bling item

Well my inspiration is a bit boring, cause I just picked pink, green and yellow from the flowers to create this LO. I used basic grey paper, coredinations cardstock, heidi swapp chipboard, teapot chippy, american craft thickers, large bella flower, Born 2 Create flower, Magnolia metal crystal thingy, kaiser diamante flowers, flourish a bling flourish and over the moon press sticker. I've used this title for a layout that i just did of mia with her grandad, so i thought it would be ok to use the same title for a photo of isla with her grandma.

I just love the Echo Park Sweet Summertime range that Deb sent me. I dont normally buy bright papers, and so I've had a heap of photos in my drawer that have really required some bright papers - so they've just sat there waiting. Hence, why I have been able to do so many pages with this range. You can check out this range of papers, and all the other goodies that Deb has in her store, here

This collage layout didnt really turn out how i wanted it to. It feels a bit hodge podge to me, with no order. But its ok, i guess. I used A2ZScraplets chippy title, echo park sitckers, tags, making memories brads, kaiser rub ons, kaiser alphas, american craft thickers, crocheted flower, bead, Papermania stickers, an embossed acetate heart, a little note thingy that I got from the Uproar 2 Scrapmore retreat, a little badge from Mcdonalds (when i used to work there as a teenager), a bit of a measuring tape and prima packaging.

Glitz, glitter and bling challenge

My Stampin Up lady, Ailsa Berry, has a challenge each month. This months theme is Glitz, glitter and bling. I do hope Im allowed to do a layout instead of a card. Anyways I did this layout of Mia using Echo Park papers, kaiser pearls, prima flourish, flower and butterfly, echo park stickers and journal block, eyelet, heidi swapp chipboard and prima packaging.

"Only You........" and you must also include masking tape. I don't have any masking tape so I've used the white tape that hospitals use (whatever it is called). I used Graphic 45 paper from the Harry Potter range, heidi swapp chipboard, kaiser alpha stickers and rub ons, prima flourish and i handmade the flower using graphic 45 paper and a crystal brad.. I wrote "Mia, only you would want a monster cake for your birthday. You love Harry Potter. love Mum

The colour challenge for April is light blue, pumpkin and one other colour. And the layout has to include a butterfly. The colour I chose to go with light blue and pumpkin, was green.
I used echo park papers, prima packaging, Ribbon, kaiser flowers, prima flower centers, FWB diamanté flourish, making memories alpha stickers, American craft thickers, Doily carolee creations alpha stickers and sandylion stickers.

So i've been busy creating some layouts with these papers. And i have to say that normally i dont like bright colours but the paper in this pack is so divine. I couldnt wait to start using it. Here is what i have come up with. The layouts arent my usual bulky pages, but i like how they turned out. All layouts are made with the Sweet Summertime pack from Echo Park and I'll just list the extra stuff that I have used.

Stampin up background stamp, Flourish with a bling tree and grass, making memories brad, tag, diamante flower, carolee creations alpha stickers and kasier pearls

Summertime

Extras I used for this layout are KVA pearl flourish, prima flowers, kaiser diamantes and a small rubber hibiscus flower thingy which i got off one of the girls little dora bags. I turned all four corners in on this LO just to give it a different shape.



Boy-friend

The title of this layout isnt because Mackenzie and Joseph were boyfriend and girlfriend :), more that he was her first friend who was a boy. She was generally against anything to do with boys til she met Joseph. And they got on so well together, he lived next door to us

Extras that I used are DCWV rub ons, stampin up die cut and embossed butterflies, buttons, kasier pearls and diamantes and glimmermist

I made this card for my friend who is having her first baby, hopefully today. I am going to fill the pram with some chocolates for her. Cabio Tse made a fantastic little pram and so I decided to give it a go. The instructions for this pram can be found here

I only did a slight bit of distressing on the blue and black card, i didnt want to make the baby's card to rough looking. I used some kaiser flowers, some white roses from Deb's store, magnolia baby image, kaiser pearls, prima flourish, papermania ribbon, doily, and kaiser rub ons.
