ink - on torn edges of paper
Pearls - i actually used a silver square diamante

Stamped image or texture - bird on tag
lace or ribbon or thread or twinge - red and white ribbon on tag
a circle....interperate any way you like - doily under flowers

Rachelle's 'Double Up' challenge - double LO

With about 30 minutes to go I finished the double LO for Rachelle's challenge. I used some old kaiser papers for the wedding LO, i just thought it matched the bride's bouquet. The green paper rose is from a handmade flower swap, and i used some paper kaiser flowers for the light purple flowers. I also used prima flowers, kaiser pearls, metal hinges, basic grey rub on flourish and the green circles are off the favour boxes and the flower confetti to throw, that we were given at the wedding. The piece, that the single photo of the bride and groom are on, lifts up and there are photos of Malcolm and I and his family before the wedding. I painted the chipboard title with white paint, stamped in purple ink a word stamp and then i used tha tsame word stamp and embossed over the top.

Rachelle's 'Double Up' challenge

Rachelle's challenge was to create 1 OR 2 layouts featuring doubles.........Huh!!!!! you say!
You have 2 choices -
You can create a double layout with a minimum of 2 x 2 (4) photos based on something NON Halloween related, BUT with a Wicked Wonderland OR Halloween theme

or
a single LO with
2 photos
2 different forms of alphabet stickers
2 pieces of chipboard
2 Flowers minimum
2 printed papers
2 different forms of additional embellishing - ie: Glossy accents, kindy glitz, doodling, stitching, stamping, embossing or even different colouring techniques like ink, watercolour pencils or markers
AND the theme must be Wicked wonderland or Halloween orientated

I decided I would scrap my photos from the Powderfinger concert. Now the criteria

2 photos - yep
2 alpha stickers - yep
2 pieces of chipboard - orange strip on left of photo and the ticket stub
2 flowers - one folded in half to represent the sunset(for their sunsets tour) and the orange and green one cut half
2 pieces pattern paper - orange with circles and cream with wavy lines
2 other mediums - painted chipboard strip and i doodled the barb wire fence

Alicia's 'Off with your head' challenge for the Scrappin Outback cyber crop

This was Alicia's challenge for the Wicked Wonderland Cyber crop.
The Red Queen is a nasty piece of work, and what she says goes! In this challenge, your fate lies withing the cards. Take your chances, deal your cards, and be sure to do what the Red Queen dictates, or you may lose your head!
The Challenge:

You will need a standard deck or cards, separated into picture cards, and number cards. Give them a good shuffle, and deal yourself 2 cards from each pile. Follow the Queen's code to determine the criteria for your project.
The Red Queen Code:
Pile 1:Picture cards:
Ace: 3 photo layout
Jack: Include a handmade embellishment
King: Use stamping on your layout
Queen: Use a piece of fabric on your layout.

Pile 2:Number cards:
Hearts: Buttons
Clubs: Flowers
Spades: Ribbons
Diamonds: Chipboard

The quantity of each element is determined by the number on the card that you deal. So, for example, a 7 of clubs means you must use 7 flowers on your project.
Alicia dealt me a hand of cards and I got dealt
Queen
Jack
10 spades
9 diamonds
And this is what i created. I used cheap pp that i have had for a long time. I have used 12 pieces of ribbon, my 9 pieces of chipboard are 5 in the title 'white', 2 leaves, 1 photo corner and 1 flower. My handmade is embellishment is combined with the fabric, I made the little white rabbit.

Julie's Nature Challenge - Scrappin Outback cyber crop

Julie's challenge for the Scrappin Outback Wicked wonderland cyber crop was to take your camera outside and photograph something that you do not see everyday.Nature can be a great source of inspiration and you can find a very fascinating subject to scrap. I used some pp that i have had for ages in my stash, prima felt gate and the packaging from this, leaf ribbon, kaiser diamantes, ribbon, basic grey flourish with bling, and metal charms.

I decided to scrap the photos of some flowers from my garden, from the deciduous trees that my husband has always wanted.
